Eng. Alaa El Nadi

Alaa El Nadi is a dedicated advocate for disability inclusion and an active member of the Egyptian Wheelchair Basketball Federation. With a strong background in engineering and social development, he combines technical expertise with a passion for empowering differently abled individuals through sports and community initiatives.

He is a graduate of the International Fellowship Program for Professionals in Nonprofit Management and Development, organized by the U.S. Department of State (2017). He also earned a diploma in Business Management, Leadership Development, and International Capacity Building from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2018. Over the years, he has participated in numerous international training programs and workshops across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, focusing on the empowerment and integration of people with disabilities.

Professionally, Alaa serves as a Project Manager at Alhassan Foundation for Differently Abled Inclusion, where he oversees impactful programs designed to support and integrate people with disabilities into society.  

Having lived with a spinal cord injury for 21 years, Alaa is a wheelchair user who embodies resilience and independence. Despite his condition, he has built a successful career and is fully capable of leading, innovating, and inspiring others. His personal journey, combined with his professional achievements, makes him a powerful role model for inclusion, productivity, and social change in Egypt and beyond.
