Dr. Zein El-Eitanawy is a distinguished physician, sports leader, and parliamentarian whose career bridges healthcare, governance, and the promotion of sports for people with disabilities. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Minya Club for Persons with Disabilities and is a Member of the Egyptian Senate, where he sits on the Health and Population Committee.

A physician by profession, Dr. El-Eitanawy works as a consultant pediatrician and a medical advisor for the International Group, in addition to his role as a physician at Minya University Hospital. His expertise also extends to hospital management consultancy, underscoring his leadership in both clinical practice and healthcare administration.

Deeply committed to sports and inclusion, Dr. El-Eitanawy is a member of the Egyptian Wheelchair Basketball Federation and previously served as Deputy Head of the Minya Region for Basketball. A former player himself, he represented Bani Mazar Sports Club, Minya University, and the Upper Egypt regional team in basketball. Today, he continues to dedicate his efforts to advancing adaptive sports, ensuring greater opportunities for differently abled athletes, and strengthening Egypt’s presence on the international sporting stage.
